Blessed Be!
This the story of Lammas-tide
Story of death and rebirth
Now under this waning sun
it's time to heed the wisdom of the Gods.
Harvest in first fruits of labor
of the bounty planted in spring.
And for each of us to grow better
we must weed the waste and clutter.
Turn the scythe upon our faults
and bravely cut down all that should die.
Nuture that which is not yet ripe
and protect it till the time is right.

Lammas: a time to weed, to cut back rank growth so that the very best may mature. It's a time to dance for the Grain God, who laughs when he is cut down.
Lughnasadh: a time to dance, with Lugh
"We'll dance our joy and dance our pain,
Heed not wind nor weather,
We'll dance our hopes reborn again."
