MN Pagan News

The events of January - May of 2007 taught us something important:When Pagans set aside our rivalries and isolating behaviors, we can accomplish REAL MAGICK! It's time to vision the next stage and then work together for on the next step.

Creating III millennium Paganism is not going to be the work of a single prophet, or a council of BNWs. In the Age of Aquarius, I believe that the important work will be done by hands without numbers. Everyone has a call to use your own talents to find a way to support the next step.

The important work will be done in our own homes, as we make choices with seven generations in mind. It will be done in our own small groups, where we support each other in PRACTICING the virtues/powers to which we aspire.

The work of cultural transformation will
take place in virtual space and public spaces. Thinkers will share and sharpen ideas as they spar in chat rooms, seminaries, blogs and classes. Writers will illuminate certain facets of the Divine Reality in which we live move and have our being. Healers will draw out the poisonous ideas implanted in the childhood of so many of us. Practical organizers will help us use our resources more effectively. Artists will inspire us all. Entrepreneurs will invent new services for our community and alternative institutions which better fit our values. Activists will urge us out of our enclaves and into the political arena, lobbying, attending town hall meetings, joining school and library boards.

And EVERYONE who seeks to serve can find a way to lead as best fits your talents, opportunities, and passions.

In that spirit, for the past seven years, CUUPS-TwinCities has provided TwinCities Pagan News to publicize Public Pagan Events. This is Paganistan's hometown paper. We hope you'll share news of all the little civil rights victories -- companies that honor our holydays, etc. But ALSO, we hope you'll share announcements of new stores, Pagan focused local music events, opportunities to collaborate and memorial services on the Paganistan Local News page.

Pagan Pride Day 2008

Be a Player!  Volunteer!

There are several options available -- please check out our website www.tcpaganpride.org or email info@tcpaganpride.org for information.

We Need Your Financial Support, Too!

As a public awareness and community festival, our local Pagan Pride Day is under mandate to remain free to the public. But putting on a major Pagan festival in a large urban area and publicizing it to solitaries and the general public isn't cheap. Any support you can give will help produce a bigger and better Pagan Pride for 2008.

Keep checking back to our website for updates.
